Congratulations 2013 Small Business Awards Winners
The Currituck Chamber of Commerce recently hosted its 2013 Annual Meeting and Small Business Awards Luncheon. More than 100 members and guests filled the Currituck Cooperative Extension Auditorium in Barco, resulting in record attendance for the event. Awards categories included businesses, individuals and non-profit organizations. A new award was added this year to recognize a business practicing environmental sustainability, which was sponsored by Hutchins Canning & Co. and won by Wild Horse Adventure Tours for its plastic bottle recycling project.
